U.S. Rep. Tim Burchett linked a rise in tick bites to Bill Gates during a recent podcast episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
Watch videoIn the May 7 episode, Burchett, who represents Tennessee's 2nd Congressional District, discussed conspiracy theories about farmers in the Midwest allegedly finding boxes of ticks on their properties.
"The tick thing is nuts," Rogan said, to which Burchett responded: "Because of meat, because of Gates."
